Security

Homeowners see only what you share.

The portal holds homes, photos and contract figures. Here's how we keep them safe.

Every company kept separateEach company's projects, photos and change orders are isolated in the database, and every request is checked against your company and your role.
One private link per projectThe homeowner’s page never shows internal notes, drafts, hidden phases or files you haven’t shared. Turn the link off or make a new one and the old one stops at once.
Private photos and filesAll traffic runs over HTTPS. Photos and documents sit in private storage and open only through links that expire.
Approvals on recordEvery change order answer keeps the name typed, the time, IP address, device and exactly what was agreed. An approved change order can’t be edited.
FAQ

Questions builders ask

Does the homeowner need an account or an app?

No. Each project has one private link that opens in any browser, made for a phone. Anyone with the link can see the page, so send it only to the homeowner. You can turn the link off or make a new one, and the old one stops working at once.

What does the homeowner see?

Your logo and name, progress and the next milestone, the phases you choose to show, posted updates with photos, the contract summary with approved changes, change orders you have sent, their questions and the documents you share. Never internal notes, drafts, hidden phases or unshared files.

How do change order approvals work?

You send a change order with the price change, tax and any days added. The homeowner approves by typing their full name and ticking “I approve”, or declines with a note. The name, time, IP address, device and exactly what was agreed are kept, and approved change orders add to the revised contract total. Each one prints with your logo.

Do homeowners get an email when I post an update?

Not yet. You send the link once and they check it when they like; your team sees new approvals and questions on the Today screen. Email and text notifications are next.

Can I post photos straight from site?

Yes. Take them on your phone or pick them from the library; they are made smaller in the browser before they upload. Photos and documents sit in private storage and open through links that expire.

Does it handle selections or progress payments?

Not yet. Selections and allowances, and a payment schedule, are on the roadmap. If a lender funds the job in draws, see Draw Requests.
