Getting started with Monthly Service Report

Set up Monthly Service Report: connect your PSA and RMM or upload CSVs, match clients, map ticket categories, add notes and send branded monthly reports.

What you need

  • Read-only API access to your PSA (ConnectWise Manage, HaloPSA or Autotask) and RMM (NinjaOne, Datto RMM, N-able or ConnectWise RMM)
  • Or, if you'd rather not connect them, monthly CSV exports in our templates for tickets, devices, backups and security
  • Your first-response target, for example 30 minutes

1. Brand your report portal

Upload your logo and colours during signup, or later under Settings → Branding.

Your portal is live straight away at yourname.nvisin.app. To use your own address, such as reports.yourmsp.com, follow Connect your custom domain. It takes one DNS record, and we handle the SSL certificate.

2. Connect your PSA and RMM

Under Connections, add read-only credentials for each. We only read data; nothing is changed in your tools. Each month's tickets, devices, patching and backup results sync on their own.

3. Match clients and map ticket categories

Each client is matched to its PSA company and RMM organisation once. Your PSA's ticket types are mapped to a short set of report categories, so every client's report reads the same way. Both are remembered.

4. Review what's flagged

Unsupported devices, accounts without MFA, failed backups and expiring warranties are flagged under Needs attention. Explain each in plain language and add recommended next steps with cost and timing. Those carry forward into your quarterly business reviews.

5. Send the report

Reports start as drafts. When one is reviewed, click Send. The client gets an email from your company's name and signs in on your domain. Every past report is kept.

Common questions

Can we edit numbers before clients see them?

You can add summaries, notes and recommendations. The synced figures come straight from your PSA and RMM.

How is the security score calculated?

From MFA coverage, endpoint protection, disk encryption, supported operating systems, phishing results and email security. Each check shows its own status in the report.
