What you need
- Your families and students (a spreadsheet works: family, parents, email, phone, student, level, instrument or subject, teacher)
- Your teachers and the email each one signs in with
- What you sell: lesson packs, terms or pay-as-you-go prices, and the days you're closed
1. Sign in and check your settings
Sign in at lessons.nvisin.app with the email you signed up with. Open Settings (the gear) to upload your logo and add your business details, which show on invoices and the family page. Check your cancellation notice, tax and invoice numbers. Starter setup holds the packages and family note for what you teach; load another one any time.
2. Add your teachers and packages
Under Settings, add each teacher with the email they sign in with: a teacher sees and marks only their own lessons. Then check your packages: packs ("10 lessons, 30 min"), terms with an expiry, and pay-as-you-go prices per lesson length.
3. Add families and weekly slots
On Families, add a family and its students, or paste your spreadsheet. Give each student a weekly slot (teacher, day, time, length and room) and their lessons book themselves six weeks ahead, never on a closed day.
4. Sell a package
On the family's page, sell them a package. Its invoice is made for you, ready to print or save as a PDF. Mark it paid when the money comes in.
5. Mark attendance every day
Today lists the day's lessons. Tap Attended, No-show or a cancel for each one, or All attended. Each lesson that counts takes one from the family's package. Today also shows packages running low or expiring, make-ups owed and unpaid invoices.
6. Send each family their link
Copy the family's link from their page and text or email it. They see their next lesson, lessons left and unpaid invoices, with no account, and can ask to cancel a lesson. Requests show on Today for you to approve or decline.
Common questions
Which lessons use up a package?
Attended, no-show and late cancel do. Cancelled with notice, teacher cancelled and make-up owed don't.
A link was sent to the wrong person. What do I do?
Click New link on the family's page. The old link stops working at once.
