Getting started with Client Health Board

Set up Client Health Board: check the health rules, paste your accounts, add KPIs with targets, rate the weekly pulse and read the board and portfolio report.

What you need

  • Your client list in a spreadsheet: client, account manager, services, monthly retainer, contract start and renewal date
  • The two or three numbers you report to each client (leads, revenue, ROAS, cost per lead) with a monthly target
  • Any unpaid invoices and overdue work you already know about

1. Sign in and check your settings

Sign in at health.nvisin.app with the email you signed up with. Open Settings (the gear) to upload your logo, edit your list of services, and invite your team under Users. Settings also holds the health rules: when each signal turns watch or at risk (for example no contact for 14 days is watch and 30 is at risk) and how much each signal weighs. The defaults are a good start.

2. Add your accounts

On the Board, click Paste a list and paste rows from your spreadsheet, or add accounts one at a time. Each account has its account manager, services, monthly retainer, contract start, renewal date, the client's contact and notes.

3. Add KPIs and the month's results

Open an account and add the KPIs you report on, each with a unit, whether higher or lower is better, and a target. Once a month, enter the results for every KPI at once; targets carry over. Add deliverables with due dates and invoices as you go, so overdue work and late payments count.

4. Log touchpoints and rate the weekly pulse

Log a call, meeting, email or report sent on the account's page, in a couple of clicks. Each week, account managers open Weekly pulse and rate each of their accounts from 1 to 5 with an optional note: a click saves it.

5. Read the board and print the report

Every account is scored Healthy, Watch or At risk with its top reason and the change since last week. Sort by risk, retainer, next renewal or biggest drop, and filter by account manager. Renewals lists what's coming up; tick Renewal confirmed once the client signs. Report prints the portfolio report with your logo, for the whole agency or one account manager.

Common questions

Why is an account on Watch when its score is high?

One red signal caps an account at Watch, whatever the score, so a single serious problem is never hidden.

An account has no KPIs. Does that hurt its score?

No. The score is worked out over the signals that have data. A signal with no data is left out.
