What you need
- Your clients, and the name and email of each person who approves work
- How many rounds of changes each client's agreement includes
- The first piece of work to send: images, a PDF, a video up to 50 MB, a link or the copy itself
1. Sign in and check your settings
Sign in at approvals.nvisin.app with the email you signed up with. Open Settings (the gear) to upload your logo and add your business details, which show on the client's page and the sign-off certificate. Set the message at the top of every client link, the default rounds included and the reminder text Email it opens with. Invite your team under Users.
2. Add a client, a project and deliverables
On Clients, add a client with the people who may approve and the rounds included. Add a project (or campaign) for them, then its deliverables: a title, type, due date, who on your team it's assigned to, and what it is.
3. Upload and send a version
On a deliverable, add version 1: any mix of files, a link (a staging site, Figma or YouTube) and plain text, with a note to the client. It stays a draft only your team sees until you click Send.
4. Send the client their link
Each client has one link for everything you send them. Copy it from the client's page, or click Email it to open your email to every approver with a list of what's waiting. They open it on their phone with no account, then approve by typing their name, or ask for changes with a comment or a note on each file.
5. Follow up and keep the record
Today shows what's waiting on clients (longest wait first), changes to action, and what's due or overdue. After changes, send the next version: each one sent is a round, and going over the included rounds is flagged. When a deliverable is approved, print its sign-off certificate with your logo.
Common questions
The client approved by email or on a call. Can I record it?
Yes. Click Record their answer on the deliverable. It's kept as recorded by you.
A link was sent to the wrong person. What do I do?
Click New link on the client's page. The old link stops working at once.
