Getting started with Ad Spend Pacing

Set up Ad Spend Pacing: set your pace tolerance, add clients and budgets, paste spend from Google Ads and Meta, and send each client their report link.

What you need

  • Your client list, with a contact name and email for each
  • This month's budget for each client, per channel and campaign
  • Access to each ad account to read spend to date, or a daily export from Google Ads or Meta

1. Sign in and check your settings

Sign in at pacing.nvisin.app with the email you signed up with. Open Settings (the gear) to upload your logo and add your agency name, which show on every client's report. Set the pace tolerance (±10% to start), whether weekend days count as a share of a weekday, and your list of channels. Invite your team under Users.

2. Add clients and budget lines

On Clients, add each client. On a client's page, add a budget line for each channel (and campaign, if you pace them separately) with the month's budget. A line can run on its own flight dates instead of the calendar month. Next month, one click copies last month's budgets, for one client or all of them.

3. Add the spend

Enter spend is one grid with every line running on a day: type spend to date from each platform (Enter jumps to the next line) and the pace shows as you type. Or use Paste import: paste a daily export from Google Ads (Day, Campaign, Cost) or Meta (Reporting starts, Campaign name, Amount spent), check how the rows matched your lines, and save. Pasting the same days again replaces them.

4. Act on what's off pace

Today lists the lines over pace, under pace or with no spend yet, across every client, with the projected month-end and the spend needed per day to land on budget. Months shows the last six months, client by client.

5. Send each client their report link

On a client's page, copy their report link or click Email it, which opens your email with a short message and the link. They open it on their phone with no account. Turn on Show percentages only to hide every amount from that client's report.

Common questions

A report link was sent to the wrong person. What do I do?

Click New link on the client's page. The old link stops working at once. Turn off hides the report until you turn it back on.

Why does a line say "No spend yet"?

No spend has been entered for it this month. It still counts in the client's budget, but not in their pace.
